Further information

The Berliner Soforthilfefonds supports victims of hate violence. People who are attacked or threatened because of ableist, sexist, racist, anti-Semitic, anti-Roma, anti-LGBTI, anti-homeless motives, or who are attacked or threatened in the context of their commitment to democracy and human rights (activists, journalists, etc.) can apply for emergency financial assistance. We advise on the application process and together we can find out which measures are helpful. The emergency aid can be used, for example, to finance therapy costs, legal fees, costs due to damage to property, a self-defense course, etc.
